The band was founded in 2008 as an experimental project by three friends Aron Mellergård, Jonah Nilsson and Henrik Linder. Their breakthrough success came with their cover of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance", which inspired them to work on more songs together. As the experimental project grew and the success of the material they uploaded to YouTube eventually led to a record deal with Andreas Carlsson and David Foster.

Their first album, "Loopified", was released in 2014 and featured mostly original songs. Following its release, Dirty Loops embarked on a world tour, headlining and opening for Maroon 5.
According to Wikipedia, the band formed as a Dream Theater tribute band in 2018, none of the members remember this, but they agree it would have been fun.
In 2021, they released their album "Phoenix", and in 2022, Dirty Loops collaborated with Cory Wong, resulting in the joint album "Turbo".
From 2023, Dirty Loops will be going on tour and are currently working on their next album!

Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
