08. Magyar Klipszemle
If you know, you know. But if you don’t: the Hungarian Klipszemle is the biggest event for the local film, music, and creative scene, where we celebrate music videos and their creators for the eighth year running. We want to give a platform to homegrown music videos, make it a big deal to create killer clips, and hey, let’s watch them on the big screen for once!
It’s like Hungary’s annual backstage happening—everyone’s here, from up-and-coming rappers to cinematographers who flew back from America, arena-filling stars to fresh art-uni grads. The lineup is endless, always changing, but it's always something you won’t want to miss.

What makes 2024 special? This year, we’re going big. Every clip that made it to the jury will be screened on the big screen—two halls, double screenings, hello Kishall and Nagyhall!
We’re leveling up the roundtable talks too, focusing more on filmmaking career development instead of just the music side. At VOLT Lokál, you can expect a fun and useful crash course on everything from picking the right school to landing your first clients, moving from small gigs to big-time success. Whether you’ve never shot a music video but want to, or you’ve made some and don’t know what’s next, come by, listen, learn from their mistakes, and steal their best ideas!
And the awards? The highlight of the 8th Hungarian Klipszemle is the awards show, where we’ll choose the best out of 544 submissions in 23 categories. Lil Frakk and Barna Turai are hosting—they’re a little nervous, but we know it’s going to be epic.
