Willany Leó // TURBINA - obsessed with filters

2024-11-20T19:00:00.000Z

Everyone who can be seen in the dark performs here!

In our 17th season, as before, our regular Wednesday improvisational performances will seek to build and sustain a community of dancers, musicians and audience members, but we're also planning new research, shows, workshops and mini-festivals. With a youthful drive, a horizontal approach, an evolving professional background, amazing stamina, lots of humour and love, we welcome you all back. Come to Leos!

The concept of Willany Leó performances is "no concept". Performers from different genres come together in the Trafó studio with the aim of creating a performance that even they know nothing about. We specifically ask the performers to leave personal events outside the space and, by "being in the present", allow what needs to happen to happen. In this way, each of our performances - like each of our days - will be unique and unrepeatable. Slow, fast, sad, shocking, funny, sexy, virtuosic, in love, disappointed, calm, difficult and uplifting. None of them, something completely different, or all of them at once.
