16:00 Closing event of Multilingual Visegrad Literature (MULIVILI)

The Multilingual Visegrad Literature Project of the Three Raven Foundation bids farewell to the audience. The performers are Eva Andrejcakova, Renáta Deák, Sarolta Deczki, Rokkó Juhász, Edit Király, Tünde Mészáros, Noémi Petneki and Anna Zsellér.

17:30 Willi Andrick: RÖNTGENSUGARAK exhibition opening

Willi Andrick spent a year in Budapest between 2001 and 2002, taking photographs of the city and its inhabitants with an old Contraflex camera that his father stole from a police car in the 1970s. In his pictures, the old and the new meet, socialism not yet left behind and capitalism not yet mastered - and the famous café culture. The exhibition will be opened by Wilhelm Droste.

18:00 JELENITS MEMORIAL EVENING

István Jelenits, Széchenyi Prize-winning theologian, writer and Piarist monk, recently passed away. We remember him, and in the meantime we try to give some perspectives on his wide-ranging oeuvre. We screen an interview film with János Sugár, and then talk to his former students and friends. The participants of the evening will be János Sugár, visual artist, Attila Németh, literary scholar, Pál Bálint Horváth, director of the Piarist High School, András Valaczka, teacher of Hungarian history at the Piarist High School, András Koltai, archivist of the Piarist Order, Marcell Mártonffy, literary historian and theologian. The discussion will be moderated by Wilhelm Droste.

Literary evening of the online journal No. Books that made us love reading. We often forget that reading has a beginning. Harry Potter, Little Vuk, The Hunger Games, St. Joan of Arc High School... and on and on. There are many defining books that make us read today. But what did the book mean then, and what does it mean many years later? Does something start there and then get buried under the reams of text? Play and seriousness: in other words, what has been inherited and what has been read in today's young literature? Participants. The discussion will be moderated by Alexander Szabolcsi.
