Body Meta
Esoteric free-jazz and jungle electronica intersect in the space station buffet. The now traditional annual regular Lumen session!
Schedule
The long-running, but only one or two gigs a year, is named after an album title by free-jazz founder Ornette Coleman. This is basically a reflection of our dedication to free-jazz and respect for the master. Free improvisation, slowly building process music and an exotic-acoustic sound, which is given a contemporary feel by the subtle use of electronics, make the band unique in the jazz and improvisational music scene. Typical jazz instruments (saxophone, trumpet, drums) are supplemented with African and Far Eastern percussion and other invented, occasional instruments, and samplers and turntables are only atmospherically present.
Szabolcs Vereb - tenor saxophone, Turkish whistle, accordion, percussion
Zsolt Verbőczy - turntable, chaos pad, gong
Vasile Croat - trumpet, fusax, music box
Viktor Horváth - sampler, drums, percussion
Bíró József - drums, percussion, found objects
Admission 2500 HUF in advance, 3000 HUF at the venue, which directly supports the performers and the realization of our programs! If you can, please buy a support ticket for a higher amount!
