Zuboly
Hungary's most modern folk music formation, who have conquered the hearts of Hungarian music lovers with their unique musical world. Their band combines traditional folk music elements with modern musical styles in a unique way, making every performance unforgettable.
In recent years, the members of Zuboly have toured all over the country with the determination of Bremen musicians. They have made music with their soup on their backs in the gloom of shanty towns and theatres, and between the gleaming white walls of modern art galleries. Their music is a unique blend: alongside traditional opera and operetta tunes, their performances include pop hits, hip-hop, beatbox rhythms, jazz, folk songs and even harmonica and woodwind solos.
Zuboly's blender blends the double bass, grotesque humour, folk tradition and modern metropolitan folklore, all of which combine to create a captivating and entertaining musical journey.
Los Orangutanes
A 10-piece Latin American cumbia party band, unique in Eastern Europe, featuring the Anselmo Crew, Irie Maffia, Besh o droM, Manaky, Zuboly, Hungarian, Peruvian, Uruguayan musicians and many more.
Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
