No beat, no line, no colour

"Once a flutist started to play only one note, the same one all the time, nothing else. When he had been doing it for 20 years, his wife asked him very carefully to listen to the other flutists: they, however, played the melodies in several voices at once, which was more interesting and varied than this one. To which the monotone flutist replied: He can't help it, he's already found the note that the others are still searching for!"

The monochrome paintings on display are similarly persistent sounds. No beat, no line, no colour.

Leaving figurativity behind, the artist invites us to dive beneath the layers of the surface.

The exhibition is open from 09.01.2025 to 02.03.03.
