In the fourth part of the series, Bridget is alone again, widowed four years ago when Mark Darcy (Oscar-winner Colin Firth) was killed on a humanitarian mission in Sudan. Bridget is now a single mother to nine-year-old Billy and four-year-old Mabel, and is emotionally fragile, although she receives help from loyal friends and even her former lover Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant).

Her friends Shazzer, Jude and Tom, her colleague Miranda, her mother and her gynaecologist Dr Rawlings (Oscar-winner Emma Thompson) all encourage her to find her way back to life and love. So Bridget goes back to work and even tries her hand at dating, and soon finds herself with a dreamy, enthusiastic young man (Leo Woodall from The White Lotus). While balancing work, home and love, Bridget has to deal with criticism from the perfect schoolmates, her worries about Billy missing her father, and awkward interactions with her son's ultra-rational teacher (Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor). The cast also includes Oscar winner Jim Broadbent and BAFTA winner Gemma Jones as Bridget's parents, as well as a new face, Isla Fisher (The Phantom Menace, The Great Gatsby) as Rebecca, Bridget's new neighbour.

Bem Cinema

In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
