Nikki Grace was once a shining star in Hollywood, but is now nothing more than a down-and-out star. But now she has a glimmer of hope that her career can take off again. She has landed the film role she coveted, and hopes it will change her fortunes for the better. But could it all be fever? It's OK that it's a remake of an old Polish film, but the problem is that it's being billed as a cursed production. After the two actors playing the lead roles were murdered, it was never shown. The curse still seems to be in effect today: Nikki feels her life is becoming more and more like her film role, the two worlds slipping into each other.
