Big Bang. Expanding collection horizons

2025-09-05T08:00:00.000Z  -  2026-01-03T17:00:00.000Z

Since its foundation, the museum's collection has grown by more than a thousand items. Collection exhibitions are mostly curatorial selections based on a specific theme or a particular characteristic. This new compilation shows the evolution of the museum's collection, based on the distribution of acquisitions over time. The exhibition is presented in chronological order, in separate sections that present a cross-section of the collection's continuously evolving material. The Big Bang... is both a theme park and a data visualisation; it is also the museum's self-reflection on the history, development, potential and aims of collecting.
