Willany Leo & Дeva: the sun is rising down
What happens when a painting steps out of its two-dimensional reality and comes to life? When shapes, colours and lines are not only visible but also audible and in motion?
The Sun is Rising Down is a sensitive sensory game on the border between present-time interpretation and ad hoc abstraction. The inspiration for the performance comes from Kandinsky's paintings - but this time the audience does not see them in their physical reality, but hears and watches them being mapped on stage. A performance in which the artworks are transformed into music and movement, where the site is not just a backdrop but an integral participant. Where the costume is not a physical decoration, but an emotion in the form of a set.

Schedule
Based on András Engelmann's concept and choreography, the dance artists of the Willany Leó Improvised Dance Theatre, Dorina Takács' Deva, Réka Fodor and Luca Kézdy's music and Ági Varjú's costumes together create a world where the sunset does not mark the beginning of darkness, but a drift into a stretched imagination.
It is an all-around artistic effervescence in which freedom, intuition and improvisation come together in one special moment. A board game whose rules we discover together.
If you're curious to see what it's like when the sun becomes the light of the stage and creation steps off the canvas to partner with co-artists to create something unique and unrepeatable, this is an experience not to be missed!
