Schedule

🎶Európa Kiadó:

Founded in the early eighties around Jenő Menyhárt, guitarist-singer-director, the story of Europa Kiadó is not a traditional band story. In its various periods, it has operated in different configurations, and has formulated and redefined itself along different narratives.

The imprint of these is preserved in the band's albums and recordings, Love '82, It'll be Good '84, Pop Music, Vote for Me, We're Haunted Here - Love '92, It's Got to Be, ...To Be Somewhere..., and No Control.

Over time, Europa has been able to renew itself time and again without ever becoming part of the mainstream, and has consistently maintained its individual style and independent spirit of operation and relevance throughout its existence.

The orchestra has had many emblematic line-ups in its more than 30 years of existence, and currently includes Jenő Menyhárt, János Bujdosó, András Kálmán, Attila Herr and Lajos Gyenge.

🎶Balaton:

Balaton is an alternative music group. It was founded by Mihály Víg and Károly Hunyadi in 1979. In the beginning, the founders set their own compositions to music and performed poems by János Vető and György Kozma Kozma, along with slide shows in the Kassák Club at the Bercsényi dormitory of the BME.

In 1992, two cassettes of archival concert recordings were released, and the first studio album was released in 1996, entitled The Middle of Light in the Gates of Darkness.

In 2020, a live album Live at Hunnia was recorded at the club. In 2021, the 40-year-old band released a four-disc compilation album of 44 songs, which was recorded in concert-like conditions, in parallel, also at Hunnia Bistro.
