Lumen is a modern metalcore band from Budapest, formed in November 2024. We have been working on the project since the end of 2022, and we are currently putting the finishing touches on our debut album. Our songs are characterized by an energetic, guitar-centric, modern sound spiced with electronics, topped with melodic choruses in Hungarian. Our first song, Visszhang, was released last December, for which we also made our first music video. Our plans for this year include the release of several new songs, which are already in the works. Our debut concert took place in Budapest in April, which, despite being our first time, was attended by an outstanding number of people. We will hold our album release concert in September, also in the capital.

Schedule

Faithless God:

The band was formed in 2020 in Kiskunhalas. Originally, the band started with two guitars, bass, vocals, and drums. We have 13 original songs. We don't have any released material or music videos yet. Style: groove/death metal. Over the past five years, there have been several changes in the guitarist/bass guitarist lineup. Current lineup: Roland Kardos – guitar, Norbert Bolyó – vocals, Jenő Horváth – bass guitar, Gábor Rajkai – drums.

Breakpoint:

The band Breakpoint was formed in November 2021 in Budapest. The six-member young modern metal/metalcore formation has already performed at numerous clubs and festivals in Hungary, and their debut album, titled Dreambreaker, was released on August 25, 2023, under their own label. Their style is primarily influenced by American representatives of the genre, but they strive for musical diversity and uniqueness, drawing inspiration from a number of different genres. Their songs have a unique sound thanks to a mix of male screams and female clean vocals. After their first English-language album, their first Hungarian song, “Hullámsír,” was released in April 2025, marking a new direction for Breakpoint. The band is currently working on new material, which is expected to culminate in the release of an EP.
