In short, Ádi is leaving the band.

Sometimes paths diverge. Ending a long-term collaboration is never easy, especially when you’ve been almost inseparable for nine years. As we grew up, life’s bigger challenges began to appear—things we didn’t consider as teenagers. What we created together, born from a childhood friendship, is enormous. It’s also incredible that Ádi traveled tens of thousands of kilometers with us, toured the country, performed in places we never imagined as teenagers, and made memories that will stay with us forever.

Thank you for these nine whimsical, crazy years. We embrace you and wish you all the best, wherever your path may lead — gaudeamus igitur!

Egy5egy is a Budapest-based band. Their goal is to dismantle the soul, dust it off, and put it back together. They have released three albums and have played at Hungarian festivals such as Sziget, Fishing on Orfű, Campus, and the Valley of Arts.
