Ádám Mészáros is one of Hungary’s most versatile guitarists over the past twenty years, crossing genres and musical boundaries. He has appeared in formations such as Péterfy Bori & Love Band, Amorf Ördögök, and Erik Sumo Band, and moves comfortably in avant-garde jazz and free music scenes—projects like Jü or Qiyan speak to this versatility. At the same time, he is a key figure in folk-rooted projects like Tariqa, Said Chalaban, and Mabon Dawud Republic.

His new band, Szodé, is not only a cross-section of his career but also a stylistic synthesis: the meeting of different musical worlds into a distinctive, unified sound.
