The Hidden Face of Ancient Egypt | Thematic Guided Tours

Sep
20

Schedule

From September 20, 2025, we welcome visitors to the Egyptian Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts with renewed thematic guided tours!

How did the ancient Egyptians honor their gods in temples and at home? What questions, fears, and problems occupied their minds, and how did they try to overcome them? What foods did they eat to satisfy their hunger, and what drinks to quench their thirst? What do our sources tell us about their education system or justice practices? How did they view gender roles, love, and the institution of the family? What remedies did they use to prevent diseases, and how did they treat health issues when they arose?

During the ten interactive guided tours, we not only reveal the lesser-known aspects of ancient Egypt but also create a living connection between the people of the past and those of today!

Participation in the November 8 session is recommended for those aged 18 and over.
