Ádám Mészáros is one of the most eclectic Hungarian guitarists of the past twenty years, whose musical journey has crossed styles and borders alike. He has already made his mark in the pop-rock world (Péterfy Bori & Love Band, Amorf Ördögök, Erik Sumo Band), moves comfortably within avant-garde jazz and free music (Jü, Qiyan, Jazzaj), while also being a key figure in projects rooted in folk traditions (Tariqa, Said Chalaban, Mabon Dawud Republic), and he enjoys engaging with other art forms as well (Krétakör, Minden Csillag film score).
His new band, Szodé, is not only a cross-section of his career but also a kind of stylistic synthesis.
His bandmates are András Halmos (Tariqa, ex-Jü, etc.), Ábel Horváth (Siketfajd, HoMoLu), and Márton Csernovszky (OOO, Mordái, Kinetic Erotic).
