An exhibition showcasing six decades of work by Balázs Béla Award-winning photographer and film director Ferenc Olasz presents visitors with sacred monuments of Hungarian landscape and culture in three rooms. The exhibition focuses on the material heritage of religious folk traditions—roadside crosses, statues, calvaries—which the artist has captured with documentary thoroughness and deep empathy. In addition to the sculptures of villages, fields, vineyards, and cemeteries, Ferenc Olasz's inspired photographs of outstanding examples of medieval church architecture and fresco painting not only preserve the values of the past but also touch on universal questions of human existence.

The images go beyond mere spectacle: they convey spiritual content and shed light on the relationship between man and the transcendent.
