In the second half of 2025, Budapest-based OMEGA DIATRIBE will once again embark on a European tour. Underground music lovers certainly need no introduction to this band, who burst onto the Hungarian scene in 2013 with their debut album Iapetus and its harsh, aggressive sound.

Their subsequent albums, Abstract Ritual and Trinity, only reinforced their position on the Hungarian scene. On their second album, Kevin Talley (ex-Suffocation/Six Feet Under/Chimaira) was on drums, followed by Tue Madsen (Meshuggah/Ektomorf/Suicide Silence) at the helm, they won the "Live Band of the Year" and "Studio Production of the Year" awards at the HangSúly Music Awards. The band's fourth album, Metanoia, was released in 2020 and was produced by none other than Sweden's Jens Bogren (Opeth, Sepultura, Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth).

After countless domestic and European tours, their fifth album, entitled Deviant, was released in December 2023, with Tue Madsen once again serving as co-producer and mixing/mastering engineer. It is safe to say that the band has delivered its most mature and powerful material to date.

Anyone who attends their concert is sure to leave with a lasting experience. It will be no different at their concert at the Akvárium!

Location

Akvárium

As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
