Schedule

The music of Japanese electronic artist Kikuo mixes dazzling and disturbing – sweet melodies with darker moods at the same time. He began his career around the turn of the millennium when he began sharing his own songs online. He found his special style in 2010 using Vocaloid singing synthesizer software, best known for characters like Hatsune Miku (virtual singer). Since then, Kikuo has become one of the most defining figures in the Vocaloid world, and his special sound and emotional compositions have become his trademark. And the exciting artist is now on his journey around the world after the success of his previous tour Kikuoland: Go-Round – which included 19 countries, 38 cities and 41 concerts – again, with surreal songs in his suitcase. Kikuoland's second world tour, Above All Bounds, kicks off in Europe and the United Kingdom, and is heard live by the Hungarian public for the first time in the spring. Prior to announcing the tour, Kikuo also surprised his fans with a new song, Rainborn Menoko, which he first performed at YouTube Music Weekend, but promises to add more songs to his discography by the start of the concert tour.

Location

Dürer Kert

Dürer Kert, which moved from the City Park to the vicinity of Kopaszi Dam, is one of the hangouts of Budapest's surviving peripheral subcultures, but it's also worth visiting if you just want a perfect garden spot. That is, starting in spring. Until then, let's keep rockin'! And after that, too.
