The Vintage Dolls band was formed in the spring of 2017, modeled after the popular vocal trios of the 1930s and '40s.
The authentic vocal trio is accompanied by a jazz quintet, whose members are renowned musicians on the Hungarian jazz scene.
Their performances combine the musical world and visual elements characteristic of the era, bringing the audience closer to this old but reviving style.
In 2025, the band reached a major milestone: they completed seven original songs in Hungarian, written by Eszter Munkácsy. The songs were also recorded on an album, and they are preparing for an album release concert in 2026.
Petőfi TV viewers will be the first to hear the new program live.
Their repertoire combines the elegance of swing music with the magic of theatrical storytelling.

Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
