Schedule
The band Kiscsillag will close out 2025 with an exclusive mini-tour: one of the three stops will naturally be the A38 ship in Budapest, where it has been a tradition for years for Kiscsillag to hold a joint Christmas party with their audience. Now in their 20th year, their songs are always guitar-based but incorporate a number of different stylistic elements, and their energetic performances and Lovasi's emblematic lyrics, and the polyphonic vocal themes that have appeared in the band's later years have made Kiscsillag one of the most distinctive, unique-sounding, boldly experimental, and ever-evolving acts on the scene. In the current lineup, alongside the two founders, Gábor Leskovics (PUF) and András Lovasi (Kispál és a Borz), Dávid Szesztay, who has now risen to the level of singer-songwriter-multi-instrumentalist, plays, Imre Hajba plays bass guitar, and Ferenc Bajkai sits behind the drums.
Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
