NANANA: “We’re arriving with our very first album — about becoming a mother, about living with (or sometimes not living with) the transgenerational patterns we inherit, and about the world that surrounds us. Existing in it can feel suffocating at times, liberating at others; sometimes it’s purely and simply happy, and other times it’s wavy and foggy — just like this constantly changing world around us.
By the end of 2025, we went into the studio, and with this record we’re bringing you everything that’s inside us.

Schedule
We are NANANA: a post-punk band with roots in Eastern Hungary, creating in Budapest. Ethereal float, rage, love, and the search for meaning — that’s what we build our own world from. Our music is a space of dualities: emotional yet raw, dark yet liberating.
Live, all of this suddenly bursts open — and if you’re there, you won’t be watching from the outside, you’ll be in it with us. Come, we can’t wait to see you!”
NANANA is a 2025 recipient of the NKA Hangfoglaló Programme’s support.

Rooted in the essence of psych/dark folk of her debut, Kæry Ann’s artistic journey expands as it embraces doom and stoner influences, exploring deeper and more immersive sonic landscapes. Her music delves into introspection, where emotions take shape through dreamlike and symbolic imagery.
Her debut album, Songs of Grace and Ruin, was released in 2023 by the Berlin-based label Anomic Records. The record was well received by radio stations and music magazines, earning praise from Cvlt Nation, Post-Punk, Visions, and Rumore. Two of its tracks were selected for the soundtrack of the American film Birth/Rebirth, a Sundance Film Festival nominee, and the Italian crime series Brennero. After the release, she toured across Europe with her band.
In January 2026 Kæry Ann will release her second album, Moonstone, via Subsound Records. The album will reflect a stronger collaboration with the band, both in writing and arrangement process, with Francesca Papi on bass, Davide Rosa on guitar, and Fabio Orticoni on drums.

Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
