Barabás Lőrinc Solo
Trumpeter and composer Lőrinc Barabás has been one of the most sensitive and active shapers of Budapest's improvisational music scene for nearly two decades. His compositions seamlessly blend the boundaries of jazz, electronic, and neoclassical music, forging a unique, atmospheric soundscape.
His latest solo material takes an elegant turn towards a minimalist, melancholic sound. These pieces reflect the lyrical sensibility of the Northern neoclassical school, often drawing comparisons to artists like Nils Frahm or Ólafur Arnalds.

The artist is an exceptionally prolific creator, having enriched his discography with his twelfth album since 2007. In recent years, his focus has also expanded towards classical forms: with two pieces written for a symphonic orchestra (Metamorphosis, Game), he has successfully opened a new chapter in the realm of large-scale compositional work.
