At the Song-Poet club night, two defining figures of Hungarian songwriting come together. In an intimate club atmosphere with an acoustic sound, they will take the stage alternately to demonstrate that lyrics are not merely an accompaniment to music, but a standalone literary form.

• JÁNOS MÁSIK – Composer, performer, and an iconic figure of Hungarian alternative music. His songs are simultaneously personal, philosophical, and painfully precise.

• LÁSZLÓ KOLLÁR-KLEMENCZ – Writer, songwriter, and singer; one of the most sensitive musical voices of the Hungarian language, who works with the same dense, human focus in both song and prose.
