Besh o droM

The band Besh o droM was formed suddenly, without any market research, recruitment, or joint learning. It was more like an answer to a question that had never been asked. Seemingly incompatible people mixed seemingly incompatible musical styles with feverish zeal and impatience. Two and a half decades have passed since then, yet their music has not become more predictable, more uniform, or more defined. Instead, Besh o droM has become a style and a trademark. They have "traveled the road."

Schedule

They have been touring the world for twenty-five years, proving that there is a need for a band that cannot be completely classified. Their name is now synonymous with unrestrained rhythms and melodies, virtuoso instruments, and a guaranteed good mood and dancing audience. They are the beloved entertainers of folk dancers, the favorite folk music performers of intellectuals, the envied rockers of folk musicians, and the most daring adapters of traditional songs. Their tour bus has visited every gas station in Europe, and they can recognize most international airports even with their eyes closed. They played at the birth and death of festivals. They held the torch for young bands, taking over the baton from the great old ones. They are slowly reaching the halfway point of their journey, their enthusiasm unabated. They don't have to go far for a musical joke, they boldly mix musical cocktails, naturalizing seemingly incompatible flavors in such a way that the unsuspecting taster wants more and more, again and again. Twenty-five years is not a lifetime, but it's good to know that a generation has grown up that would not have existed without Besh o droM.
