Thy Catafalque is an avant-garde metal project founded in Makó in 1998, whose central figure and only permanent member is Tamás Kátai. The band's style has continuously evolved from its early black metal roots towards an experimental, eclectic sound that blends elements of folk music, electronica, doom metal, and progressive rock.
