Halper – Hendrix World is guitarist László Halper's new band, which combines Jimi Hendrix's music with elements of jazz and world music. The rhythm section of the band consists of two of the bandleader's old musical companions, drummer László Hajas and bass guitarist Zsolt Kosztyu. In this unique-sounding production, the band is joined by two internationally renowned musicians, cimbalom player Jenő Lisztes and Balázs Szokolay "Dongó," a master of folk wind instruments. The band released the album Voodoo Chiles in 2022 to mark the 80th anniversary of Jimi Hendrix's birth.
Band leader László Halper regularly plays at festivals and jazz clubs with several of his formations. In 2012, he celebrated Jimi Hendrix's 70th birthday on the main stage of MÜPA with the collaboration of two world-famous musicians, drummer Steve Gadd and bassist Eddie Gomez.

A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
