No One Was Driving The Car - La Dispute presents its new album in Hungary.

La Dispute last played in Hungary in 2015, and now they are returning to the A38 Ship on February 27, 2026, with their album No One Was Driving The Car, which will be released in September.

Six years have passed since La Dispute released their last album, Panorama. Since then, the Michigan-based post-hardcore band – whose members include Jordan Dreyer (vocals), Brad Vander Lugt (drums), Chad Morgan-Sterenberg and Corey Stroffolino (guitar) and Adam Vass (bass) – has coped with the stagnation caused by the pandemic, celebrated the tenth anniversary of Wildlife and Rooms Of The House, and begun work on the album No One Was Driving The Car. The fifth studio album is the first to be produced entirely by the band, with work taking place in several locations: Grand Rapids, Detroit, the United Kingdom, Australia, and the Philippines.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
