A formáció célja, hogy továbbvigye és élővé tegye mindazt a zenei tudást és szemléletet, amelyet a zenekarvezető pályája során a jazz mára legendás mestereitől sajátított el. Munkájának középpontjában a hagyomány tisztelete, valamint a következő generáció zenei gondolkodásának formálása áll.
