In the new film by Joachim Trier, director of *The Worst Person in the World*, Nora and Agnes reunite with their estranged father, Gustav, after many years. The charismatic man, once a famous director, offers Nora a role in his recurring film. She refuses, and the part is ultimately given to an enthusiastic young Hollywood actress. The sisters face the difficult task of navigating their complicated relationship with their father while confronting the intrusion of an American film star into the midst of their turbulent family dynamics.
