I found a zither on the shelf at my grandfather’s place: it was old and dusty. I put it on the floor and plucked the strings. That’s when everything began. I graduated in 2022 from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where I studied zither/koboz/hurdy-gurdy/folk violin. Since then, I have been working as a music teacher and musician. I’ve had the chance to perform in many countries—from Ireland through Kazakhstan and Japan all the way to Australia. My work is currently defined by a dual approach: a deep exploration of folk music combined with free, creative interpretation. I would like to share with you what I know now, in the way I know it now, on a truly unique instrument: the electric zither. I warmly invite you to join me on this journey!
