“With great power comes great responsibility.” But what responsibility can a hero have if she is just a simple hen who escaped from a chicken hatchery? After a series of adventures that are both funny and very dangerous, our heroine ends up in the courtyard of a dilapidated restaurant. Here she finds love, but must face the henhouse hierarchy and protect her eggs, which the restaurant owner rigorously collects day after day. Above all, the hen passionately wants to raise her own chicks.
Her humorous, heartwarming, and often desperate struggles with her environment and the complex world of human beings are full of tragic compromises, defeats, and victories.
