Saisei 再生 is an Athens-based band founded in 2019 by guitarist Stamatis Zografos. The band blends post-hardcore and metalcore with innovative modern elements, creating a modernized and fresh sound on the music scene.
They have released five EPs so far, starting their journey with two covers (Pray For Me by The Weeknd and Lucid Dreams by Juice Wrld), which they infused with their personal style, and then continued with the songs “Sink In Sin,” “Kintsugi,” and “Hachiman.” The common thread running through their songs is a blend of Japanese culture and mentality (the band’s name means “rebirth from ashes” in Japanese), modern riffs, progressive shifts, and a combination of brutal and clean vocals.
Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
