MAGÁCSKA

MAGÁCSKA is a pop-rock-age band formed in 2016. Wild romanticism, with light, cool lyrics, songs to hum, in which everyday situations come to life, sometimes with unpleasant, teasingly honest cheekiness and (self-)irony - or the pop-rock-indie-jazz quintet. "The songs are about ordinary experiences - often male-female relationships - that we ourselves have lived through, in an unconventional light. There may or may not be a twist and it's all just a memory in a jar. We believe deeply that with good songs, simple but astonishing lyrics, and cheeky honesty, it's easy to get people to smile, dance or sing together. We love what we do, we hope it works on the other side!"

HICKORY

The band was formed in 2019 by five young people with a passion for music. The group's debut single was released in autumn 2019, entitled 'Soul Tour'. In the following year, HICKORY premiered the band's first music video for their song 'Stumbling Around'. In autumn 2021, the band released their second single 'Stranger in the Middle' and the music video for the song 'Everything's Alright'. Over the years, HICKORY has participated in several music talent contests: the band was awarded third place in the Vojvodina Light Music Talent Contest, was among the finalists of the Joy of Music and Fülesbagoly talent contests, and their own composition 'Bordkába zárva' was a finalist in the Songwriting Contest for Mai dal. Since its formation, the group has performed at several venues and festivals in Hungary, including A38 (TV recording), EFOTT (Venice), Trafo (Gödöllő), Analog Music Hall (Budapest), etc. HICKORY's music is characterized by a pop-rock sound, combined with honest, almost cheeky lyrics.
