Mehringer
Since childhood, Marci Mehringer has been writing songs, singing and playing guitar. The songwriting boy from Pécs became known in 2021 in a TV talent show, and then turned his back on commercial media to found his own band. Mehringer has been a live band from the start, writing his own songs and producing them.

Schedule
Whatever underground talent contests they have entered, they have always come out on top, including Best Lyricist, Most Talented Musician and Discovered Band of the Year. The debut single 'We stole this too', Hóvirág, reached number one on Petőfi Radio's charts and has now been listened to by more than 3 million people on online platforms. Mehringer, who also opened for Halott Pénz at Budapest Park, has since enjoyed several successful national tours, but an accident in August this year interrupted their upwardly spiralling career. With the incredible cooperation of Hungarian artists and fans, the orchestra has been rebuilt and the band can return to where they feel most comfortable: on stage. In October 2023, the 1.5-year-old band released their first album 111, featuring 12 original songs, and with which they aim to reach across generations and musical styles. Packed with sometimes outspoken and energetic songs, the album has exceeded expectations and is still the band's most listened-to material. As Shipyard wrote: 'One of the most interesting emerging faces of new Hungarian music is Marci Mehringer.
If you'd like to hear the songs from the album live, we'd love to welcome you to the Akvárium Klub on 30 December, where we'll celebrate Mehringer's return and the release of 111 together.
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
