APOCALYPTICA

Apocalyptica, the Finnish cello metal band, announced today that they will embark on a major tour this autumn, presenting the follow-up to their legendary debut album Apocalyptica Plays Metallica. Marked number two, the fresh album continues the journey that four young cellists from the Finnish music school Sibelius Academy started in 1996, when they found the idea to perform songs by the greatest heavy metal titans Metallica on their own instruments. Numerous concerts later, the band, now a trio, is going back to the beginning, completing the circle they started then.
