Dernière Volonté

The French Dernière Volonté is one of the most defining bands of the European post-industrial scene. In their early material released at the end of the 90s, the ritualistic dark ambient soundscapes combined with the massive industrial drums into a gloomy, dark, ominous sound stream. Later, the synthesizers played an increasingly important role, together with the increasingly melodious French-language vocals - the powerful drums remained, thus the band became the creator and most important representative of the military pop style. After that, it was further refined, the bases became even more electronic, the influence of the new wave/coldwave/minimal wave music of the 80s came into focus.
