Messessippi

The cavalcade of authentic and rhythm & blues, Hungarian, Irish or even Native American folk music motifs gives an elemental, sometimes tribal sound, in a more modern and drifting musical guise. Sweeping energy, poetic thoughtfulness, melodic and elemental soundscapes. This is typical of Messessippi.

The band has performed at several festivals and stages such as Kobuci Garden, Mistral Festival, Valley of Arts, Kaláka Festival and Ladikos Festival.

The orchestra has given numerous concerts at events and festivals in and outside the country. The band released its first album as a duo in 2018 under the title Remete.
