Tamás Vághy, a classically trained pianist-composer, decided only a few years ago to bring his experimental solo project to the public. in his compositions released as Vághy, the piano plays a leading role in all areas, and his sound is enhanced by various electronic effects, while he also expands the possibilities of the keyboard with vintage instruments.

His first official release came at the end of 2018, when Invisible Touch debuted as the opening track on Italian label Blue Spiral Records' The Minimal Piano Series, a compilation of minimalist piano pieces. In recent years, his concert series, which includes a lot of improvisation and a regularly changing instrumentation, has seen him perform alongside artists such as Lubomyr Melnyk, Lisa Morgenstern, Simeon Walker, James Gillespie and iamyank.

In 2020, he released his first single, abandoned forest, accompanied by an ambient video on 14 May, premiered it domestically on phenom'en and internationally on Stationary Travels.

On 18 February 2022, the first Vaghy album, Minimalism, debuted, featuring clean piano compositions backed by minimal electronics and released on Theque label. This was followed by the album granum, a collection of clean improvisational piano pieces that show the steps of development.
