Tünet Együttes

The Tünet Ensemble is an independent contemporary dance and theatre company that has been operating since 2002.Its artistic director is Réka Szabó Szabó, mathematician, dancer, choreographer and director.

Their performances are at once thought-provoking, dramatic, childlike and liberating. All the artists in the company of actors and dancers are collaborators: each performance draws heavily on the personalities and creativity of the characters. The company knows no genre boundaries, treating text, movement, music, visuals and special technical solutions as equal elements.

The Tünet Ensemble has always been committed to social engagement, and its repertoire includes street performance, structured improvisation, interactive storytelling for children and an initiation programme for secondary school students.
