Ocho Macho

Formed in 2003, Ocho Macho's musical style is a fusion of reggae, ska, punk and Latin. The name of their music, which they call "hooting", means "eight males" in Spanish (the translation is charmingly and deliberately incorrect, the correct version would be Ocho Machos).

The more than 10-year-old, double-platinum-selling band is a regular at all the major national festivals, but not only. Village festival? Lecsófest? Pálinka festival? Wine days? If it's going to be a good party, they're the ones in charge! Their motto: Live music and concerts for everyone! That's why these guys have picked up an instrument.

"For us, it's a pleasure when people can get out and have fun together during our concerts or while listening to our music. That's why I'd say it's simple, we give anti-depressant concerts and love and in return we get love, it's a win-win situation!"
