CVRDWELL

The Budapest-born artist acquired his DJ craftsmanship at 13, more than two decades ago. Since then, he has become a familiar face in the Budapest nightlife.

CVRDWELL is now a trained sound designer and music producer, released on labels like Secession, Warok, Diffuse Reality, and Postdynamic to name a few. His sound is fast-paced, groovy, analog-fuelled techno, spiced up with a sense of melancholy and a hint of otherworldly edge to it - forward-thinking, yet respects the roots of the genre. In the last three years, he has started to perform hardware-only, improvised modular live acts, that gained recognition from the Hungarian techno scene.

Besides his own carrier, he has been steering the Budapest-based techno event series, ’Vault Budapest’, and a corresponding record label, 'Nonverbal Language'. Since last year he is also the co-owner and resident of the GRID Budapest clubnights.
