Jozsi Hegedus

The 24-year-old Józsi Hegedűs, born in Freikígyó, who works as a day-care teacher, has been writing songs for ten years now on single guitar, whose lyrical melancholy bears the legacy of Tamás Cseh, although by his own admission he says that "the Devil or the Holy Spirit, or both, whisper and bubble" them in his ears. The Eucharistic Congress has been his biggest audience so far, but it is the closeness and communion created by the music that is really important to him.
