Cold Contrast

Based in Budapest-Gyöngyös, Cold Contrast evolved from a one-man coldwave/darkwave project into a full band. Their music was greatly influenced by the defining formations of the dark subculture, such as She Past Away, Boy Harsher, Clan of Xymox or Linea Aspera, their songs mix atmospheric elements of Russian postpunk, coldwave electronics and classic goth themes. According to their own statement, "the start of the project was given a big boost by the flourishing of the domestic scene, led by Empty Story, Utolsó Hullám, and the many excellent bands we have met since then".
