A Csajod

Csajod was formed in the autumn of 2017 in a jam session where a metalhead drummer (Zsolt Lőcsei), a funk-loving bassist (István Zsombor Sentes) and a Beatles-obsessed guitarist (Tamás Szőcs) found each other. This summer Tibor Láng joined the band as guitarist.

Zsolt Lőcsei, the former drummer of Background, told us that the idea of founding a band had already taken off when he moved to Cluj-Napoca, so he placed an advertisement for it in the first weeks of his stay. Tamás Szőcs, guitarist-singer, and István Zsombor Sentes, bass guitarist, applied, the latter being the former bass guitarist of Silverproof from Târgu Mureş. At the first rehearsal, they worked on their own songs and after a year of work, they held their first concert in Cluj Napoca in December 2018.

Since then, the band has played several gigs, including a performance in front of Hiperkarma, but they have also played in Timisoara, Sfântu Gheorghe, Budapest and, the year before last, in Târgu Mures, where they came second in the Peron talent contest. Their repertoire is constantly expanding and they are working on their own songs. Their style is funk-rock, but there are also hard-rock, alter and even disco elements in their music. According to Tamás Szőcs, we play "a free rock-funk-alter-disco-white songs" style.
