Lóci Játszik
The band Lóci Játszik captivates concert-goers with its honest approach to life and energetic stage presence. The band is part Balkan, part alternative, and it creates a family and fun atmosphere while on stage that makes you feel like you can relax and give yourself over to the funky sounds with brass. Despite the upbeat atmosphere, the special thing about Lóci's lyrics is that each one captures an important phase of his life, making them easy to identify with.
The band was founded by the eponymous frontman Lóci Csorba in 2014, when he wrote the soundtrack for VAN. This was followed by the recognition of the Ki Mit Tube and the Cseh Tamás Programme, a successful tour with Margaret Island, and then they won the audience award at the Veszprém Street Music Festival. In 2017, they won the Fonogram "Newcomer of the Year" award and were the winners of the Big Band Pad competition, so they have been featured at all the festivals, such as VOLT in front of Linkin Park, SZIGET in front of PINK and Strand in front of Bastille. At the 2020 Hungarian Film Awards gala, Lóci won the Best Composer award together with Daniel Csengery for writing the theme song for the film Seveled. In 2021, the clip of 'Panelparadicsom' was awarded the prize for the best performance at the Hungarian Klipszemle.
