The Csík orchestra is a Kossuth Prize-winning Hungarian ensemble playing light and world music, partly folk music and partly folk music elements, and has been a major player in Hungarian folk music since 1988. Over the past three decades, the Kecskemét-based group has been awarded several prestigious music prizes. Their work is recognised by the Fonogram award, which they won in early 2007 for their latest album "Senki nem ér semmit" (Nobody understands nothing), which has since become a gold record in the world music category.
