Chily Team
We were founded in 2013 based on the idea of a few friends. We initially created a small section of the forest for ourselves, decorated it, played music, and had a great time. After a year, the core idea naturally expanded, and we wanted to open up to a larger community, inviting others to join us and collaborate.
In 2014, we launched the Psylamp series at the renowned Budapest venue, Lámpás. This series catered to fans of psychill/psydub music, providing them with an opportunity to relive the nostalgic atmosphere that was seldom found in other events during that period. This is where people began to recognize us, and we received a lot of positive feedback.
Recognizing our efforts, many psytrance/goatrance parties approached us to create a chill stage, allowing exhausted dancers to relax and groove to slower rhythms. These collaborations were significant to us, as they demonstrated that other event organizers were open to working together to enhance the overall experience for attendees.
Over time, we acquired our own stage sound technology, an essential asset for our team to host indoor and outdoor events independently.
In 2018, we hosted a series of events in Budapest on the Trip boat and Lámpás. In 2018 and 2019, we were resident artists at the Sziget Festival on the Cökxpon Stage.
In 2022, after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we reorganized and launched our Fractal Dance goatrance series at Edith. We also initiated a partnership with the Hungarian Kétfarkú Kutya Párt, leading to regular performances at the party's events.
As of 2023, we are currently hosting our own series of events at Edith and Synthesis, and we frequently visit various locations, including the Apsara Festival. Our music selection spans a wide range, from dub to Goa trance, and we host parties with various themes.
We are actively striving to expand our presence at international events. So far, we have successfully had performances in India, Vietnam, and Spain.
Our future plans remain unchanged from our initial goals: to provide our guests with a high-quality musical experience in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
