Continental Arena

The management of the Arena, built in 1988, was taken over in 2013 by the Nyíregyháza Sports Centre Nonprofit Ltd. with the aim of reforming its operation, providing a real home for the top teams of Nyíregyháza MJV.

The Arena is a sports and event hall that meets all needs and operates to European standards.

One of the largest and most modern halls in Hungary, it underwent a complete renovation in 2016:

  • The auditorium has been enlarged (2500 seats).
  • more spacious auditoriums, a larger auditorium and new warm-up rooms
  • VIP boxes have been created
  • the hall's IT system was renewed
  • a modern air conditioning structure
  • modern media stands have been installed

The Continental Arena is suitable for cultural and leisure events, exhibitions, conferences, concerts and, of course, national and international sporting events.
